the past two days
I’ve been to 5 states (California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho).
Eaten dinner of baked beans from a can. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as glamorous as “A Goofy Movie” makes it out to be.
Went to Vegas and ate a panini, saw Fundamentalist Latter-Day Saints (compound folk) at a Wal-Mart, took a picture of a couple of gay biker men in front of the Arizona sign (they work in prosthetics), and saw the most amazing landscape I’ve ever seen at Zion National Park.
What I’ve learned is that this country is diverse. I studied this in college, but I’m finding it’s quite different to actually see it.
